The Tyro Middle School Vision is to be the difference for every student, every day. We strive to make a difference in the TMS Student Services Office, as we provide support, resources, information, and crisis response to students through the various aspects of our work as counselors. I am proud to be a graduate of West Davidson High School and I have been a School Counselor at both West Davidson and Tyro Middle. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, have a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and English and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I am currently licensed as a School Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor by the State of North Carolina. I am also certified as a Mental Health Specialist by the American School Counselors Association.

If you need to meet with me, please call and schedule an appointment with the Front Office. While my hours are Monday-Friday 8:15-3:00, I may be unavailable if you simply drop by the school. If you need copies of documents or other printed information, please allow 2-5 days for me to process your request.
