Student Information
Book Loan
Students may check out two books for a four week time period. Books may be renewed if there is not a current hold on the title. (Students will visit the library for a regularly scheduled book checkout time with their Language Arts. They may also visit the library at any other time with teacher permission.
Book Hold
Students may put books on hold. As soon as the book you would like is returned, we will reserve it for you and make sure you get the book. This is a great way to ensure that you are able to get a
popular title.

Search by keyword and find tons of articles, images, and videos
Discovery Education
Great resource for standards-aligned digital resources, videos,
skill builders, audio files, images and articles.

Excellent resource for royalty free music for
student projects and presentations.

West Davidson Public Library
Tyro Middle partners with the public library to offer students
access to more resources by using their student ID number.
Resources include: Tutor.com, newspapers, language learning,
digital library/ eBooks, and World Book Online
