Mrs. Kathy Roe
Mrs. Roe is one of the 8th grade math teachers here at Tyro Middle. This is her 13th year teaching and second year at Tyro. She has taught grades four through eight in states including Michigan, Maryland, and North Carolina. Her favorite grade to teach is eighth because she loves talking about slope and systems of equations! She loves random fun facts and starts each class with a positive quote and a quiz question. In her free time, she loves to read, go for walks, and spend time with her husband and 13 year old daughter. This is her first time winning teacher of the year and she is so honored that it was here at Tyro. Go, Dragons!
