Team Activities

(A)

Cross-Fire

Game Objective:

To keep your teams bowling pin from being knocked over.

Directions and Rules:

  • Before your intramural day pick 15 players to begin the game.  Other players can be substituted the next game.
  • Each group will be assigned a corner of the gym. Four different groups will be playing at a time.
  • When the whistle blows each group will get as many foam balls as possible from the center circle without crossing into the circle (No mans land).
  • Each team will then try to “knock out” the other teams by knocking down the opposing teams bowling pin or by getting players out by traditional war ball rules.
  1. A player can be hit with a ball thrown by the opposing team (that has not hit the floor or other person).
  2. The opposing team can catch your fly ball.
  3. A player crosses over into another court.
  • Teams may have players to guard their own pin but cannot touch it or set it back up if accidentally knocked down by its own player.
  • The game ends when only one team has a pin standing.
  • This team will get a point and we will begin again.  Points scored in each game will be tallied to determine the intramural winner.
