Surry Communications dba Piedmont Communications, in Davidson County, announced today that effective immediately they will be offering 60 days of free internet to enable local students the ability to participate in online education. The offer is available for the primary home in which a kindergarten through high school student and a technical, college or graduate student resides.
“Surry Communications is committed to supporting the continued education of our students,” stated Richie Parker CEO of Surry Communications. “Providing internet service that allows them to connect to their teachers, helps keep their minds engaged and their learning plan on schedule is a small part of creating normalcy during this time. When we work together, we enable our community to thrive during hardships.”
Participants in the program will receive basic internet service, including a router. Participants will need to sign up by April 3, 2020 and may sign up by calling 336-787-5433.
