Mrs. Missy Hege
Mrs. Hege is a special education teacher here at Tyro Middle. She has been in education for 29 years and has served several schools within Davidson County. Mrs. Hege has had the honor of serving as a Reading Specialist, Math Specialist, and she has taught students in 1st through 12th grade. Her favorite role is her current position in special education. She loves working with students in a small setting and developing meaningful relationships that encourages confidence and academic growth. In her free time, Mrs. Hege enjoys reading and spending time with her family (especially her one-year old grandson, Aiden). A fun fact about Mrs. Hege is this is her 3rd time winning teacher of the year at a school! Tyro Middle is lucky to have a dedicated and caring educator like Mrs. Hege!
