Educational Career: I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Culture and K-12 Education. I began my teaching career in 2008 as a Spanish Teacher at West Davidson High School. I received my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a concentration in School Counseling and began my career as a School Counselor at Griffith Elementary School in 2014. I worked as a School Counselor at Griffith Elementary School, Walkertown Middle School, and Ledford Senior High School. I earned my School Administrator License through Appalachian State University. I became an Assistant Principal in 2021 at Tyro Middle School. I am beyond grateful to be working in the Dragon community with our Dragon Scholars, Leaders, and Families!
