*About Me

My name is Cassie Hodgin.  I attended college at Winston-Salem State University, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  For my education licensure, I attended Pathway to Practice - a partnership between UNC Chapel Hill and NC State University.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's progress this year please let me know.  I look forward to working with you and your child to make this school year a success.

*Communication

We use Class Dojo Messaging to stay connected throughout the school year. This tool allows me to send quick reminders and important updates directly to your phone. You do not need a smartphone to receive messages, but if you do have one, the free Class Dojo app (available on iPhone and Android) also lets you send messages to me.

*Classroom Expectations 

At TMS, we believe that a positive classroom environment begins with shared expectations. In our classrooms, students are expected to be Ready, Respectful, and Responsible at all times.

Be Ready: Arrive on time, stay in your seat, and have all materials ready to begin learning, including a charged Chromebook.

Be Respectful: Keep food and drinks put away, use quiet voices, and honor the classroom expectations. Treat your classmates, teacher, and learning environment with courtesy.

Be Responsible: Bring all necessary belongings with you and take them when you leave. Keep your hands to yourself and follow directions promptly.
